Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver process engineering services that meet our customers' product requirements and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment specifications.
  • Perform process equipment sizing, hydraulic and heat exchanger design, and pressure relief calculations.
  • Evaluate and optimize process design alternatives to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate process design with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation designs.
  • Participate in project meetings, reviews, and technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct process design calculations, simulations, and modelling using industry-standard software tools.
  • Communicate effectively with the engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules, provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
  • Performance management, setting up KPI’s, project and budget management.
Job Requirement
Must have:
  • 8-10 years of experience in process plant design/projects, preferably in Hydrogen electrolyzer.
  • Demonstrable commitment to safety in design,
  • Experience in the development of PFDs, Heat and Mass Balances. P&IDs.
  • Experience in specification of related industry equipment, piping, valves, instruments.
  • Knowledge of the codes and standards relating to the related industry
  • Good report writing and verbal communication skills.
Should have:
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in chemical engineering or similar.
  • Experience designing systems for hazardous products (gases/liquids etc.)
  • Experience with process safety and risk assessment procedures (HAZOP etc.)
  • Knowledge on relevant codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Technical ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
